Josh runs the KnifeCenter. As an all around ecommerce guru and idea person, Josh creates sales campaigns and newsletters, finds new software as well as helps in the warehouse, cleans up all messes, and every other task needed. A Maryland graduate, the one person who knows the score…is Josh. After hours, he is being trained by his two young sons. They say he is making progress!

Jason has been in the business for over 30 years, working for mom and pop brick and mortar, chain brick and mortar, distribution, and now nearly 15 years at the KnifeCenter! His job is to get great deals on knives, and put out all the fires that happen in the process of getting them into stock! When not at work he likes to hike and camp and bike…a little old-house-fixing-up..and as much travel as he can sneak off for!

One of the wonderful and helpful voices you will hear when you call in, Cheryl is an office gem. She brings her years of experience to the Knifecenter helping us through each trial and tribulation with the ease of a pro. Evenings are spent in her garden and with her wonderful granddaughter, Ileana.

Our in-house creative expert, Bruce designs and codes all the pages at KnifeCenter and guides our creative staff. It isn’t easy creating work that the administrators will then criticize — and redo it all with a great attitude. He does a great job. After hours, his three young children keep him busy.

Digital Marketing Manager
David C. Andersen is our resident video personality and knife designer. He started out as a writer for The Truth About Knives and he is also the founder of Nordsmith Knives, channeling his passion into new and original designs. He spends his days at the KnifeCenter combing our warehouse for cool things to share with our audience. Evenings with his wife are spent cooking, working on prototypes for new Nordsmith designs, and dreaming of his next camping trip.

Nick is another product specialist and came to us after getting his engineering degree from Maryland U. He brings a wealth of talent as the consummate “knife guy” and keeps everyone at the KnifeCenter up to date on all the products. He knows a lot about the knives because he owns at least one of every great knife we sell! After hours he is playing broom ball, frisbee and playing with his dog, Kona.

MattD has been a friend of the Knifecenter since before 2000. Recently he joined forces with us and is one of the KnifeCenter’s major buyers of custom knives. No one has more friends in the industry than Matt and we are very happy he decided to work inside our office instead of just visiting from time to time. After hours it’s all about the two little grand daughters.
