A Sneak Peek at the Latest WE Knife Designs
Keep in mind that the knives discussed are prototypes. This means specs and designs could change slightly before the final versions are released. However, the good news is that these knives are expected to hit the market within the next six months.
New WE Knife Releases
WE Knife Zenthra: In-House Design

The Zenthra is an in-house design from WE Knife. What sets it apart is its incredible art deco design, and the use of M390 blade steel instead of their usual 20CV. What’s the difference between M390 and 20CV? In truth, mostly the name, because M390 provides similar (excellent) performance. The Zenthra features a selection of carbon fiber inlays on the titanium frame lock. This partially hides the frame lock mechanism, giving it a clean look.
WE Knife Sylox: In-House Design

This one is all about the final touches, with exotic handle inlay materials and hand-finished textures that make it look and feel extra luxurious. The Sylox features an M390 blade steel and a full titanium handle. It has a button lock mechanism and carbon fiber inlays. The blade has a tanto profile with a compound grind. The button lock action is smooth, and the fuller on the blade lets you reverse flick it open. Though it’s a larger knife, it’s still designed to carry easily.
WE Knife Winsome: In-House Design

Strong, yet stylish is the name o the game with the WE Knives Winsome. This titanium frame lock features an M390 blade with a clean drop point profile and thumb stud or front flipper deployment action. The carbon fiber covers part of the lock bar, creating a sub-frame lock effect. There’s also a floating spacer at the back. The handle design works well for different hand sizes. The thumb studs also act as blade stops, which improves the strength and stability of the lockup. The WE logo is subtly placed on the pocket clip, instead of the pivot, which contributes to the style.
Exciting New Collaborations
WE Knife Epaulette: Gavko Design

The Epaulette is a collaboration with Gavko Knives. It features a design that’s cleaner than some of Gavko’s more aggressive models. The name “Epaulette” refers to the shoulder piece found on military uniforms, so it’s no surprise to see some tactical influence here.
Here’s a quick rundown of its features:
- Blade Steel: 20CV
- Lock Type: Titanium frame lock
- Grippy handle features a diamond pattern for a secure hold that won’t shred your pockets.
- Lightweight design achieved with milled-out titanium internals.
WE Knife Micro Trogon: Brian Brown Design

The Micro Trogon is a smaller version of the original WE Trogon designed by Brian Brown. If you’re a fan of the original, you will certainly need this one too. Here are some specs:
- Blade Length: Approximately 2.7 inches (6.5 inches overall)
- Blade Steel: M390
- Lock Type: Titanium frame lock
- Handle features a fine milling pattern for a finely textured grip.
- Blue accents appear on the backspacer, thumb studs, and hardware.
WE Knife Inmate: Jerad Neeve Design

The Inmate is a collaboration with Jered Neeve of Neeve’s Knives. It has a 20CV blade, titanium handles and frame lock, and a milled titanium pocket clip. It also features a full backspacer with neatly integrated lanyard hole. You can open it with the thumb hole or front flipper. It has a slim overall profile, yet feels substantial for hard work. Jered is known for his sharpening expertise, so the sharpening choil on this one should make it a pleasure to use and actually maintain.
WE Knife Coral: GTC Design

The Coral’s design screams GTC. It uses the SLT (Spring Loaded Tab) flipper tab mechanism. The tab tucks out of the way when the blade is open. This is a smaller, more pocket-friendly version of the award-winning GTC Solid model. Unlike the Solid, however, it’s not an integral design, which should make it significantly more affordable. The blade has a drop point profile with elaborate compound grinds for a technical look. And even though the overall size is somewhat compact, the flat space near the flipper allows you to choke up on the knife for a more full-sized and secure grip.
What’s Next?
