CIVIVI Knives 2025 – An Early Look at Prototypes and Production Samples Coming Soon

CIVIVI Knives 2025 – An Early Look at Prototypes and Production Samples Coming Soon

Knife enthusiasts, get ready: exciting knife news just dropped at SHOT Show 2025. We got a first look at the newest prototypes from CIVIVI, the sister brand to WE Knife Company. While WE Knife focuses on premium designs, CIVIVI has made a name for itself by creating some of the best budget-friendly knives on the market. What surprises do they have in store for us this year? Let’s dive in!

CIVIVI Elementum Slipjoint: Tradition Meets Modern Design

CIVIVI Elementum Slipjoint folding knife held open in hand

The CIVIVI Elementum is a beloved knife, known for its simple design and exceptional value. But what else could CIVIVI do with this popular model? They’ve transformed it into the Elementum Slipjoint! For those unfamiliar, a slipjoint knife doesn’t lock open. Instead, a spring applies pressure to the blade, keeping it open during use.

We’d describe the “walk and talk” (the feel of the blade opening and closing) as approachable. It’s not too stiff, but it’s also not weak. The blade has a slightly more tapered tip than the original Elementum. The steel is 14C28N stainless steel. The handles are made from G10, and it features stainless steel liners. You’ll also find a deep carry, reversible pocket clip and a lanyard hole.

Who is the Elementum Slipjoint For?

This new Elementum is perfect for:

  • Fans of old-school knife designs who can appreciate a classic slip joint.
  • Anyone in areas where locking knives are restricted.
  • Those who simply enjoy a more traditional design with modern materials.

The CIVIVI Clingman: A Trapper-Style Knife for the Modern User

Next up is the CIVIVI Clingman, a new collaboration with Taylor Martin from Best Damn EDC. This knife offers two deployment options: a front flipper and thumb studs. The Clingman will be available with G10 or Micarta handle scales. Unlike many CIVIVI knives, this one features a milled pocket clip.

First impression? It’s a modern trapper-style knife. It has swooping lines and a comfortable feel. Like most CIVIVI folders, it runs on ceramic caged ball bearings. The blade steel is Nitro-V.

Klingman’s Design Features

Here’s a closer look at the Klingman’s key features:

  • Stainless steel liners
  • Front flipper and thumb studs
  • Milled pocket clip
  • Nitro-V blade steel

The CIVIVI SOKN Fixed Blade Designed by Kyle Lamb: Ready for Anything

CIVIVI is stepping into new territory with a fixed blade designed by Kyle Lamb dubbed the SOKN. The first thing you’ll notice is the unique pocket clip placement on the handle. Why is it there? It allows you to draw the knife while leaving the slim, taco-style sheath in your pocket.

The sheath for the SOKN also has straps, giving you multiple carry options. You can attach it to a backpack or carry it in your pocket. The blade steel is Nitro-V, and the overall length is 7.1 inches. The handle has a design geared towards self-defense, with a mind towards inverse grips for a secure hold. The blade shape is a classic utilitarian drop point shape, complete with a neat sharpening choil.

CIVIVI SOKN Fixed Blade Features & Details:

  • Taco-style sheath keeps the profile slim.
  • Pocket clip on the handle facilitates quick draws.
  • Straps allow for backpack carry.
  • Nitro-V blade steel.
  • Utilitarian drop point blade shape.

The CIVIVI Anaaki: A Budget-Friendly Knife with High-End Flair

The CIVIVI Anaaki is a brand-new, in-house design that’s sure to turn heads. The milling on the handle is intricate, with different patterns on the inside and outside. This particular model has a two-tone finish (black and satin). The blade is Nitro-V steel, and the pocket clip is reversible.

We noted that the Anaaki has a higher-end feel than you might expect from CIVIVI. It’s a conversation starter, with a unique “spider web” aesthetic.

It features a pocket deployer, flipper, and button lock. The handle is thicker than most, providing a secure grip. The blade shape is a Wharncliffe, which is great for utility and easy to sharpen.
