If there’s ever a Soldier that’s felt like there’s someone looking out, there’s a good chance that someone is Kelly. As an active duty soldier and combat medic for the Army for over 20 years, Kelly brings raw talent to the Forged By War program. She designed the CST because dedicating years of service in the field wasn’t enough—she’s continuing the legacy from the homefront. She doesn’t just stop at that, though, she’s preparing to work with organizations that focus on female veterans’ issues after her upcoming retirement.
