This is one of the best knives you can buy! It's actually made by Victorinox in Europe and their stainless is the best anywhere - why do you think so many custom knife makers actually carry a Swiss Army knife in their pockets! This thing will cut tree limbs, if you want, but keep it in your kitchen and it'll cut bread for generations before you ever need to sharpen it. It's not heavy- just about the best you can get0- especially for the money. For my money- you don't need a forged knife as a bread knife. This one works as well as any other you will ever see! And these statements pretty much go for the entire line of Forschner - Swiss Army Victorinox kitchen knives- they're the best you can get for a reasonable price.
