The blade shape, thickness and ergonomics of the classic HEST folder design are unmatched. Micarta makes it grippy and Magnacut makes it slice. The new flipper puts this into the "feels like a hand made custom" category I like the practical side. Glass breaker/skull crusher, hex drive and rapid opening (as well as thumb studs) You can tell the designer (RYP) went through every aspect of the design and knife to make it a grail EDC. And a great price. Sold!
